From the very beginning, it was clear how much heart went into every choice. The vibrant colors, the thoughtful touches, the way family and friends played such a big role — it all told the story of a couple deeply loved and supported.

As a photographer, I believe the details are the soul of any event. They tell the hidden stories of care, culture, and intention. Paula & Erik’s wedding was overflowing with exquisite touches — each one crafted from the heart.
Mexican culture was beautifully woven throughout: vibrant flowers, joyful colors, and a snack table that stole my heart completely. Mini Tajíns, tiny tamales filled with traditional candies, thoughtful messages on every package — I’ll admit, I cried while photographing those first moments. It was all so authentic, heartfelt, and celebratory.

The venue itself was nothing short of magical. From the moment guests arrived, it felt like stepping into a dream — a space filled with light, warmth, and charm. Every corner invited celebration, and it set the perfect stage for Paula & Erik’s love story.
Getting Ready With Laughter and Tears
The “getting ready” moments are always some of my favorites, and this one was unforgettable. Paula, her sister, her mom, and her sister-in-law shared a room full of laughter, inside jokes, and tears of joy. Every click of the camera captured raw, genuine emotion — sisterhood, motherhood, love.
A Warm Welcome
Before their big entrance, Paula & Erik chose to greet their guests one by one. This moment stood out to me — it wasn’t just about the event, it was about family, friendship, and true connection. Every hug, every smile made the day feel even more intimate.
The Grand Entrance & A Father’s Words
Their entrance was magical — cheers, applause, and pure joy filling the air. Then came the speech we were all waiting for: Mario, the bride’s father. True to himself, his words brought both tears and laughter, exactly as everyone expected. It was a perfect portrait of a loving father giving his daughter away.
Sharing Time With Everyone
What struck me throughout the night was how Paula & Erik took the time to truly connect with each guest, making each person feel important and celebrated. It was a beautiful reminder that love is not just shared between two people, but within a whole community.

Erik’s brother delivered heartfelt words, followed by Samantha — Paula’s sister and the mastermind behind this spectacular event. Every detail reflected her love and dedication. She was a silent heroine that night, and I couldn’t help but admire her work. Honestly, she’s the kind of sister every girl dreams of having.

When Paula & Erik stepped onto the dance floor for their first dance, the entire room was filled with emotion. The lights, the music, and their happiness created a moment that felt straight out of a romantic movie — and there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. Soon after, Paula shared another unforgettable dance, this time with her father. With just a look, they expressed a bond so deep and tender that words weren’t needed. Together, these dances captured the essence of love in all its forms: the joy of new beginnings, and the timeless connection between a father and his daughter.
A Night of Dancing, Joy, and Surprises
As the evening unfolded, the dance floor came alive with music, laughter, and endless energy. Friends and family celebrated with Paula & Erik, turning the night into a true fiesta. Just when everyone thought they had seen it all, the couple surprised us once again — stepping onto the floor dressed as cows to dance to “La Misma Vaca.” The room erupted in laughter and applause, a moment that perfectly captured their playful spirit. It was the kind of surprise that made the celebration uniquely theirs: joyful, unexpected, and unforgettable.

As many of you know, I’m proudly Colombian and Caribbean, but I hold a deep admiration and affection for Mexican culture. To see it reflected in this wedding made it even more special to me.
